Getting the leaves and spathes right is going to take a while. I do marvel at the fantastic variety of colors and shapes in this plant as I paint, but it's a hard thing to capture with opaque acrylics.

ReplyDeleteStill watching you work. It's so much fun to hear your thoughts about the subject, the medium, the inspiration, etc. And I love that you throw in a good food picture once in a while, especially the peach ones that are so inviting right now. Too bad that book never went anywhere - do you ever think about trying again on that front?
