Iris

© Ellen Blonder
When my mother-in-law died, we dug up some of her bearded irises to replant in our garden; now we remember her every year when they bloom. This sketch is of one of the white ones.

  1. LOVE this, Ellen,

Iris's are one of my favorites and I love that you remember your mother-in-law with this one. I have a hydrangea from my mother via my aunts garden that is just blooming this year. Very special, as my mother died in 1974 so of course I have nothing directly from her.

    Love, Jeri
